Aaron bit on his lip for a moment and let out a tiny breath, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah? I guess I’ve never noticed it.” He laughed a little and glanced over at Nate again, shifting slightly where he was sitting. The thought of telling him brought butterflies to his stomach, and he looked over at Bucky, tilting his head. “Oh–I’m Aaron, by the way..and that’s Nate over there.”

“Well, from what I’ve seen, he only does it when you’re NOT looking. Which would explain why you’ve never noticed it.” God, he was starting to sound like some sort of ~~creep~~. But, then again, when you have nothing but time on your hands, you tend to notice things around you more. And, as if on cue, Nates head lifted for a moment in order to glance back at Aaron, pausing when he noticed Bucky. His brow raised curiously for a moment as he gave a small wave, causing the older male to give a slight chuckle. “I’m…James. But most people tend to just call me Bucky. Or..they ~~used~~ to, at least. It’s a pleasure, Aaron.”

Aaron laughed a little, a sheepish smile appearing on his face. “Ya really think so? I mean–I dunno. I’ve just been too chicken ta make the first move,” he muttered, letting out a soft breath as he looked over at Nate, who was a good distance away.
“I guess I’m just..mm, I dunno, I’m nervous. That’s all. Ya really think I should go for it?”

“’Course I do, kid. There’s no point in dragging things out longer than they need to be.” ~~James~~ BUCKY shifted the stack of books that were currently being held in his left arm, making sure they were stable before placing his right hand on the gingers shoulder. “I’ve seen you both here plenty of times before. And I’ve seen the way you both look each other. It’s not exactly a secret that he feels the same way.”
